Lintronics was established in 1993 for the development, manufacture and selling of sophisticated high tech cotton fiber testing instruments, for generating cotton quality information of the fibers to be used by the textile industry.

The company is the proprietor of the most advanced, and worldwide proven instrument and comprehensive data in this niche, as known by its brand mane – the FiberLab.
Market
Fiber testing instrumentation is used worldwide by all sectors in the textile chain – the gin, (in order to evaluate the quality of the material sold) the trader, (in order to evaluate the quality by grading) and the yarn spinner (in order to bland the cotton well before spinning)
Traditionally, Chinese cotton is classed by manual classers. However, in the last 3 years there has been a big change in this area with more end users converting into 100% instrument testing.
Advantage
FiberLab technology is a better fit for the cotton fiber testing spec desired by the Chinese market and the CFIB. Cotton neps and stickiness, very important parameters for the textile sector, are not tested for by the USDA.
Cooperation Required
It is well known that China is the biggest cotton and textile producer in the world it is expected to grow dramatically during the next 10 years due to the better economic trend in China. It is therefore logical that Lintronics is seeking a joint venture with a Chinese strategic partner in order to establish a new, Chinese based, brand of a unique, lower cost, fiber testing instrumentation to become the Chinese and worldwide standard for this kind of information.
